Engaged couples are encouraged to contact the parish office six months prior to date of marriage. No other dates should be set or reserved until the couple has taken the time to meet with the pastor.
All sacraments are open to registered parishioners. For scheduling Visitation of the Sick or Holy Communion for the sick and homebound, please contact the parish office.
The sacrament of Penance (Confession) is held on Saturday from 3 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the 4 p.m. Mass.
Any special requests for this sacrament must be scheduled in advance through the parish office.
Your child's initiation into the Roman Catholic Church requires that you attend a preparation class, be registered in the parish, and prepare yourself for the continuing responsibility of raising your child as a Catholic.
Classes are held inside the Church on the second Friday of every month, at 6:30 in English and at 7:30 in Spanish. Parents and godparents are expected to attend the class.
Baptisms are held the second Saturday each month at 11 a.m. in Spanish, and the second Sunday at 12 noon in English.
The reception of First Communion is open to all children in 2nd grade or older. Only children who have been enrolled in a minimum of two consecutive years of Catechism are eligible. To enroll your child, contact the parish office.
Candidates for confirmation receive instructional formation for two years before receiving the rite of Confirmation. All candidates are conferred each year by the Bishop of the Diocese of Beaumont during the Easter season. Only students who have been enrolled in a minimum of two consecutive years of Catechism are eligible.
